Jeva privacy policy
For the Jeva app on Android, published by Soudan Labs. The short version: we don’t ask who you are, we don’t track you, and we don’t keep what you type.
01What the app sends
Jeva works only on the text you give it. When you tap to rank, decide or check, the app sends that text to our server: your options and what matters to you, your question, or the message you pasted. Nothing is sent until you tap, and nothing else goes with it.
The app has no sign-in and asks for no name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location. It contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code, and it creates no advertising or device identifier. Its only permission is internet access.
02Who processes it
- Our server (api.jevaimodel.com) receives the text, has it judged, and returns the answer. It does not save the text. Its request log records only the kind of request, its length or number of options, the time, and whether it succeeded. That log rotates automatically and never contains a word you wrote.
- TypeSafe AI runs the Jev model that produces the answer, so it receives the text of each request. Its privacy policy says it will not train or fine-tune models on that input and hosts its service in the United States. How long it keeps request data is set by that policy, not by us.
- Cloudflare carries traffic to our server. Like any network in the path, it processes your IP address and request details to deliver the request and to block abuse such as automated flooding. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent or share your text with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
03What stays on your phone
Nothing you type is saved to your device. Your current question or list lives in memory while the app is open and is gone when you close it. The app excludes itself from Android backup. If you tap Share, the text goes only to the app you choose, and that app’s own policy applies from there.
04A sensible precaution
Because your text passes through the services above to be judged, avoid pasting passwords, card or bank numbers, or anything you would not want another company to process.
05Your choices
You decide what to send, and you can stop at any time by not using the app or uninstalling it. Because we keep no copy of your text, there is nothing of yours on our side to retrieve, correct or delete. For data held by TypeSafe AI or Cloudflare, their policies above explain how to make a request. Questions about anything here go to [email protected].
06Children
Jeva is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly receive information from them.
07Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. A change that affects what the app sends or keeps will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
